Who cares if Pujara runs came in pressure situation with wkts down therefore having to build a platform and the other's when he was just swinging his bat w/o much to lose

this should be understood    ... 1 wkt down early, Ind in deficit, last session where wkts can fall in a heap (Ind did lose 2 wkts in the final session), ... 

 

PS it is quite evident that the tail is not under much pressure relatively when batting

Ind lost back to back wkts at 62 and 63. By no means a huge score ... Could Pujara have done better in first inning? Yes ... Big deal if he did not (when he has numerous good performances)? No

His job was to create pressure on other batsmen by not scoring, by denying his partners extra runs running slow?

that is your opinion ... if ppl feel pressure in test cricket, they should not be playing it 

 

Your point is similar to someone saying Pant creates pressure on other batsmen by playing rash strokes as the other batsmen don't know when a wkt will fall 

 

I support both Pujara and Pant for the way they play their cricket. Tests cricket is unique and tough because it allows players to play their normal game

Again an irrelevant point ... because if you play a long inning, you can get runs ... Pujara has been playing for years and Ind has scored tons of runs

Runs are irrelevant. Number of balls played is the only important aspect in cricket. Didn't you know that the team that plays the most balls wins the match? ICC just introduced that rule recently. Useless fools are looking for runs when they don't matter at all.

If the kingpin was in his best form, he would have scored an impactful knock like in Aus … Rohit needs to make the best use of his good form. Can’t compete based on 30s, when others are winning Ind series with the bat overseas

Pujara has lost his batting ability. Bat's too slow just dead bat's, several other players can be tried. Pujara needs to be dropped.
