Golf enthusiasts, few small doubts.   How many types of golf clubs are there? One for long distance, one for short putting? Do they carry their own golf balls or does the event organizer provide them with designated tournament balls?   Do they play the same 18 holes on all 4 days here, or its it 18x4=72 different holes?   Are PGA/LPGA golf courses much larger than this Olympics course, hence with higher par for every shot? That could explain why Aditi with her stron

Medal #3 today (13 overall). Another bronze - This time in Archery from Harvinder Singh. Could have been gold if he had held his nerve in the semis. Unfortunately fell apart. Still good job winning against a Korean for the bronze.

Soman Rana in silver medal position with 2 record holders to go... hopefully should medal as well. Was in #1 position for a while. Unfortunately pipped by a Brazilian with the WR holder (also Brazilian) and former gold medalist in Rio (Chinese) to go.

Should win at least 2 more badminton medals. We have 2 Indians in both semis of 2 events (SH3 and SH4) and one more Indian in the semi of SH6 and one team in the mixed doubles semi-final. Should end up with at least 15 medals for sure in this paralympics

 

2 more Shooting events to go with contenders for a medal and another javelin thrower who should also medal if he keeps true to form. We could be close to 20 if all goes well in the last 2 days!

getting to 15-16 does seem feasible.

Manoj loses - so will play for bronze while Pramod plays for Gold. Possibility of 2 medals in this event.

 

Other badminton semis with Indians in both semis live now. Unlikely Tarun will beat the #1 seed in his semi. Hopefully the other Suhas beats an Indonesian to advance to the final. Either way a medal is guaranteed.

 

2 more semis in two different events in Badminton coming up in the day. 

 

Two shooters Singhraj and Manish Narwal make it to the finals. Hope they both medal.

Wow! 1-2 finish in the shooting event!

 

Amazing! Up to 17 medals now (once the badminton medals come in) with 2 more badminton medals up for grabs if the losing semi-finalists can get the bronze

1-3 finish on the podium for India in SL3 Badminton. Two more medals assured tomorrow as well! 

 

Javelin throw not looking as promising. Navdeep in 4th spot - doesn't look like he will be able to get the 2+m needed to get him on the podium.
