That French guy got lucky he got a long medical break at the end and that this match was not scheduled for today. He was struggling at the end. 

 

If his match was today Suhas would have won IMO. Tomorrow is a diff story.

Haryana already announced 6 cr and 4 cr today morning.

Coverage has been decent IMO. It is the Paralympics - not the Olympics. Although it is amazing to see these folks participate - with all due respect it does not compare to the Summer Olympics. That is the pinnacle of sport. It's like cribbing that not enough ppl follow U21 football or school level cricket. 

 

These athletes are getting good press and the SAI and PMO are doing their bit to laud these folks publicly. Every athlete that has won or come close to winning medals has been feted and received personal calls from the top. All the athletes received rousing welcomes back home at the airport. Can't expect more than that.

 

In a way it's better it doesn't go overboard.

6AM Qualification 50M Air Rifle Mixed 3 Positions

Avani Lekhara (Chance for her to her to win a third medal this paralympics), Deepak, Siddhartha Babu

 

If the above qualify for the final - it will be held ~9-10AM

 

Badminton

615AM Gold medal match - SL4 Mens singles - Suhas (Underdog)

615AM Bronze medal match - SL4 Mens singles - Tarun (Should win)

8AM Gold medal match - SL6 Mens Singles - Krishna (Should win)

845AM Bronze medal match - Mixed Doubles - Pramod Bhagat/Parul (Underdog)

 

2 medals to come for sure ... hopefully Gold. 1 Bronze should be a lock. Shooting can go either way. We should end up with close to 20 medals! Almost double of our efforts combined from all Paralympics!

Tarun doesn't win the bronze either :( . I thought that should have been an easy win. Anyways - Krishna has a Gold matchup soon and there is a bronze playoff left in mixed doubles

Krishna wins game 1 but making a lot of errors. Looks down in game 2.

 

Will goto a decider. Hope Krishna sorts out his nerves. Not looking like the same player as he did previously
