Based on past trends, the WT20 squads have to be announced at least a month before the tournament. Which means the cut off date this time will be 16th September. IPL starts only from 19th September. This was the last chance for players to out up their case. Now only chance Dhawan has is through nepotism and his friendship with clown

Lanka were walloped in the 1st ODI & T20, came back well in thereafter but you expect them as India kept on experimenting & SL themselves are not a club side. Their bowling attack has 3 very good bowlers & they will still full strength teams at home.

Send Bhuvi back to play a complete season of FC cricket. If possible let him go to County cricket. Far too many times he has been picked after bowling just a few overs in domestic cricket

 

Keep Kuldeep in FC cricket till he sorts out his technical issues

Bhuvi is on last legs due to Injury /Fitness . No need of FC cricket or county . He will not survive 1 full series if he plays with full intensity . Same is with Ishant . If a pacersgets injured every 6 months for 2 years means they are done . 

May barely complete a bi lateral  if he just bowls at 120ish. But at that pace quality batsmen will target him.

My hunch is he will again get injured in T20WC and will be out of the tourney in the middle.

Not a humble pie for sure, you don't expect to whitewash a team with continuous experimentation with some players who actually don't even belong to that level

Add an * 9 first choice players missing in last two matches

 

Our first choice 11 thrashed them by 30 runs in the 1st T20.

 

Indian newbies like Shaw, Kishan, SKY, Chahar deserve all the hype.
