They can play once close contacts are isolated like they did in SL.

Ok players are expected to adhere to playing policies in IPL … At other places, they can be fearful even though they could play

Don't think they have strict  bio bubble in UAE. I saw some player pictures from the beach.

It's a strict bio bubble like last time. BCCI in its advisory had said any breaches of the protocols will result in disciplinary action.

They only went by BCCI playing policies at other places too like England and before that SL.

BCCI policies on COVID are not universally applicable ... Thank you

This is sad but game has to move on. Can’t cancel every game or tournament because of a few cases.

if you’re fully vaccinated the chances of severe symptoms are close to zero

england conducted the Euros and now PL with fully packed stadiums

The tournament should be scrapped and players should go back to their respective countries for their own safety . Is there no fear about the safety of Biwi Bachas anymore ?

Not if close contacts are isolated.

But they are applicable on their players which is good enough for them

BCCI had agreed to play the test

BCCI agreed to play the test on same day, so once more you are wrong

You are the only one talking about this close contact clause. Show me the clause where it applies to indian international matches or stop making up things. Every series is played by host rules and not the rules of the touring nation

If such a clause was there BCCI would not have agreed to keep playing the test. We all know BCCI had agreed, it was players who refused

If they use the same yardstick it would be postponed. I guess that is not going to happen.

Did they not continue playing the 4th test despite the Shastri's covid case?

@rkt.india Any thoughts?

It does make our stance look hypocritical.

Playing a test match without a physio is a totally different ball game tho.

The entire saga has been messy.

I heard BCCI wanted the game to continue but players didn't. Was it players or just Kohli?

link? There are reports that BCCI didn't want the Test at all and wanted to prepone it but ECB refused due to the precious Hundred tournament.

Earlier you claimed that Ganguly denied that players had asked for delayed Test. When I asked for link, you didnt respond.
