@rkt.india Any thoughts?

It does make our stance look hypocritical.

Playing a test match without a physio is a totally different ball game tho.

The entire saga has been messy.

I heard BCCI wanted the game to continue but players didn't. Was it players or just Kohli?

if it was LOI,even ODI, it would have  gone on.

5 day Test can't be compared with LOI or few hours flight or a Euro game etc

Did they not continue playing the 4th test despite the Shastri's covid case?

only 1 day. He was tested positive on 5th day and was isolated.

That's true.

Can't blame players to not want to play the test after the only physio has gone down.

But it does not look good from the outside with so many theories floating.

if you make false equivalences, ofccourse it won't.

The ECB didn't even agree to a delayed Test. Why would players demand delayed Test if they wanted to head off?

Their decisions are never based on COVID as much as some would like to sell us. They know it.  It is going to be hypocritical no matter how much some dance around this.

Yes. Just not able to put a finger on the precise issue due to lack of data.

We dont know what happened behind doors for the 5th test so its all guesswork at this point.

The way players have mingled (if the pictures are to be believed) just doesnt make sense.

Natarajan and Vijay Shankar that’s The Who’s who of our match winners in recent times :((

Feeling a bit sorry for Shankar, things have gone awful since he was picked up in Indian squad, might not even be picked next IPL at this rate.

Yeah, it was sad to see SRH bat him below Abhishek Sharma and Rashid Khan in some games earlier this season

He should bat at 4, will be mostly useless down the order.. They should drop Pandey down the order
