Take away Rohit Sharma’s runs, and when was the last time Indian batting was even half decent in ODIs? Now factor in a half hearted Kohli, easily our best batsman, and there is no batting in this team.

I think shastri would have looked even better if kohli was test captain & rohit was limited overs captain for india during his tenure. We have to give dravid time to see if he improves and takes bold decisions in upcoming series.

Problem with indian cricket is they support their state players like anything, Eariler kumble when he was coach he brought in ka players, kohli  supported Ishant and dhawan endlessly. Dhoni use to support their own boot lickers however some of them were really turn out good players. Now Dravid is doing the same he will give endless rope to Kela, Mayank and Krishna other than mayank other 2 looks meek to the core and Mayank has glaring technical weakness and to avoid any rebel he has to keep useless senior in the team so that everyone will be happy. So nothing going to change the promising youngsters will get only one or 2 matches in a series like sa odi series. We are going to get badly exposed in upcoming icc events.

I am more afraid of our bowling rather than batting under him... Batting he will eventually back the youngsters because he has done that in the past. Not so sure he can look past the trundler culture in bowling

if he is already lost over these type of politics - which are more common than what one may expect - then perhaps this isn't the job for him. he should resign asap and let someone else take over the reigns.
