For some reason i never rated Shadab may be because his ODI performances especially against us. Whenever i saw him he got thrashed around. Also very poor strike rate in one dayers. In T20 it is a different picture. He strikes well, bowls acceptably. Also fields well.

Shadab always had higher ceiling.  His performance in WT20 was impressive.  He went through a bad phase for a while & we all said he was pathetic. 

His redemption since WT20 has certainly surprised me.  He is quite ahead now as compared to Chahal. 

An in form Kuldeep is miles better than him in terms of sheer talent but Shadab is a utility player as well.

We backed Chahal exclusively as a specialist bowler. He can't bat to save his life. His fielding is horrible. Turns out his performance in his main department also regressed badly.

shadab is a better AR player, but that's largely due to chahal's ineptitude in batting + fielding

It's a big insult for Shadab to be compared with a one dimensional cricketer like Chahal. Shadab is Pakistan's Jadeja & Chahal is crap.

if ur talking about package how is it chahal vs Shadab , it shud be shadab vs jadeja .

I have been thinking about shadab vs jaddu for few days, what a package shadab has become . His batting is now much better then his bowling

 

If it was a choice for me in white ball for shadab vs jadeja i wud have gone with shadab and yes then u also dnt need chahal as well

as a bowler even im not getting how is shadab not taken apart more often , he is limited as bowler n heavily reliant on googly . I find usman qadir a much better spinner then him....diff is shadab is developed now n qadir is new 

But as a package shadab is wow....he is good enough to bat at 6 now

lower order nhin bhai , now he is good enough to bat from 4-7 any position in white ball . Its not that he is smashing some roadside bowlers in PSL , he is hitting guys like shadab, rashid, harris rauf very well

4 too high but definitely a very good 6 even at international level.

batting/hitting has suddenly improved. Hayden might have worked on him.

not suddenly , he has been batting up the order in domestic n PSL for a while....

As Gambhir says if u want someone to think like a batsman make him bat up the order so he can think about building an innings. He always had the ability but batting up has made him work more hard on his game. 

Hayden or no coach can do miracle in 2 weeks, it takes years of hard work
