yes, I agree with you. with a sporting pitch, Pak would have had a real chance to win (better spin reserves and pacers experienced in SC conditions). Y'all are only hurting your own chances by serving up these dead tracks.

Ramiz is the only good man in PCB ATM, all others including captain , coach and selectors are insecure, spineless and cowards . No sense in making such a pattha . ICC should definitely take some action and  deduct some points from home country's WTC points for making such a "killer of tests " wickets .

Last time India made a patta and we have journalists telling stories of conspiracy of why patta was made by bcci in madras 1st test against england.. Poor pitch guy lost his job.. Indian cricket has now gone in such direction that a patta is now hated by everyone. That shows the transformation in mindset that we dont care give us spinning tracks we will risk losing one but will win most with our attack but we dont need draws.. the last pure patta we had i think was in rajkot 2016 against england where both teams scored excess of 500. Then there was the match which sri lanka ramesh mendis saved batting on day 5 and the ranchi test where saha pujara made a century and aus batted out last day..but again both these tests has slow turn similar to the first test against nz at home..

Chennai was a typical Indian track, flattie to start with and gradually wearing down aiding all bowlers on day 4 and 5. A pitch where 40 wickets fell with nearly 400 overs of cricket 5 days is a very good test wicket.

 

The then inept TM led by a petulant captain-coach duo made a ruckus about the curator as a home series loss immediately after a historic series win in Australia would have meant an end of Kohli's captaincy (which ideally should have happened right after the Aus series)

an interesting match, but result seems unlikely for this test. possibility of rain, pakistan scored slowly in 1st innings in this test (in above test, their ER was 3.5), and Aus have lost most of their wkts and are still behind.

Pull out the most wickets list and every bowler in their is looming with amazing averages and then youll see indian bowlers with their asssss stats to compliment their tally of wickets lmao.

Getting a feeling this test match can turn out to be a thriller. If Pak can post 180 runs target and give Australia 3 hours to bat...who knows?
