Rat can't be in any ATG Indian test discussion if he has a <50 average

I don't rate Brat all that highly, but a sub-50 avg is not enough to preclude someone from ATG status. King Viv would still be an ATG if his test avg was 0.3 lower (49.9 instead of the actual 50.2)

As I wrote, a <50 or >50 avg is not indicative of ATG status.

Yes.. Virat atg in tests Even his avg end with below 50 avg in tests.. Most double hundreds by indian and most times he scored 600+ runs in test series.. Virat scored 600+runs in series 3 times next gavaskar dravid each 2 times scored 600+runs.. In sachin era next best indian batsman avg 52+ 49+, in this generation next best indian batsman avg 44+(min 100 innings)..

Can't really blame any pro athlete for not retiring. It's the selectors/BCCI's job to throw them out. But they don't have balls or even brains.

Then they can fukkk right off. Bhaad main jaye Indian Cricket. Kal waise bhi izzat lut jayegi Dravid sena ki.

Virat used to average less than 50 before SL tour of india in 2017 (Nov/Dec) & That series helped him to get his average over 50.

After that he had great tour in SA & England (2018) & Ok-Ok tour in Australia (2018) and since then he is on decline.

His average since England series 2018 is 35.76 and he has played 53 innings now. Memorable performance 254* against SA at home and 136 against Bangladesh (his last century in this format) so since 2018 England tour he hasn't had any great series by his standards and similar is case with Pujara but he can say he has had impactful knocks in BGT 2020/21.

why impose 2018 as cutoff? better to start from end of 2019 where the dip is even more
