The Test average of Virat Kohli has fallen below 50 for the first time since 2017 and it will remain at 49.95 till 30th June 2022 at least. What do you think his test average will end up at?

somewhere between the average of Azhar and Merchant/Hazare if he plays for another 2 yr or so

After an extended period of living on borrowed credit, it becomes very difficult to pay it back. In 2021 he averaged 28. This year the average is 38. It doesn't seem likely that he will keep the 50 average with this kind of form. The below 50 average will become another talking point putting more pressure on him.

Misbah used to score hundreds beyond 38 yrs old but this guy is over at 30 yrs lol

Stupid comment man; Misbah only became regular in his early 30's for Pak. Virat has been playing for India since he was 19.

Has been left far behind by Smith and Root in tests.

Might as well struggle to reach 10000 test runs at this rate.

Without 10000 test runs that he is just a good test batsman not a great, because he has neither those game changing innings like VVS nor the s/r like Sehwag.

Sehwag has a better average as well
