i like Prasidh and Umran a lot..both are sheer talent.

both should play for INDIA regularly.

Siraj is OK but he is hot n cool now a days.

identify your strength and bowl that...try a slow ball once a while not regularly. But indian pacers are trying them quite a lot.

Harshal can try slow balls often as He has the Skills and control ...not avesh  or saini or Prasidh Or even bumrah or SHAMMI.

Siraj is for tests

I ask out of mere curiosity,

How many of these fastest deliveries were wicket taking?

No analytics site collects such data for public. But we can make a rough guess.

Let's assume a bowler bowls 22 bowls in a match. You pointed at a wicket taking delivery and asked me if that's the fastest he bowled. Not knowing it, I answered no as the probability of it being his fastest is 1/22.

If it's given that he took n wickets, it will be n/22.

But this is not a direct answer to your question either. Vice-Versa does not give accurate results even if it was the real question.

In practice, you almost never see the single fastest delivery being the fastest. By the way, Nortje took Buttler with second fastest delivery in all IPLs, it was neither too full no too short.

This doesn't tell you if the fastest delivery was used as set up ball.

90mph is not enough to beat batsmen specially quality batsmen for sheer pace ,you need 100mph maybe even more.

Umran consistently beaten batsmen for pace yesterday. Beating batsmen for pace too doesn't mean wickets.

Shami quite a few bowls at 141-144.  Gets Uthappa cheaply.

Alzarri 145. What a good looking action he has.

Ferguson 148 fastest till now.

Match 29: Over 8.4

Ferguson to Gaekwad - 154.

Fastest of the season. Maybe rounded off, Umran also has one at 153.7

Umran bested him in GT v SRH game...  Hopefully he clocks 154 kph too.  He's in rhythm now.  Maybe when SRH goes to Pune.

Hope he gets to 158-160. He can if he really exerts himself. His action is effortless.

GT had some fast bowling (145+) in its latest game:

Lockie 154

A Joseph 147 (the one I saw)

Shami close to 144 iirc (could have touched 145)

yes, they have serious pace. lockie vs umran will be one to watch, although lockie seems to be slightly faster on some days
