Poor Nehra g used to get abused when bowlers were getting spanked. But cricket is a captain's game, same coaching staff different captain and different result.

Together Hardik-Gary-Nehra have made this side punch above their weight..............way way way above

Toh iska matlab Hardik is a better captain than Kohli?

Hardik is a great captain who was utilised by Gary and Nehra to the best while Kohli was a ga$du captain who failed to use the duo and was hitting the rock bottom at eight and sixth spot with Gary-Nehra combination??

Coaching staff is a bit overrated in IPLs. Player form matters. When you have 5-6 guys consistently performing and able to play in pressure situations, then you have a good chance.

Gambhir probably was the most hands on. The funky batting orders had his signature all over

Look like you were waiting for this genius thread to open. Nehra was abused in one match only where he was instructing from boundaries and hardly people abused him except some twitter trolls...

They had only five bowling options (Tewatia hardly bowled) plus no finger spinner to complement Rashid. Atleast two teams had better bowling.

Not true. He was mostly on bench. Didn't start this year as well. 5 bowling options hardly ever works.

Didn't realize how old this post was, it was on first page.

if Rashid is one of the five, it is much different than normal 5 man attack.

They have Vijay Shankar too if needed. Might use Sai as impact player this year.

Yeah. Rashid makes so much difference. No one succeeds 9/10 times in this format. He does.

Their three retentions will also last longer than LSG (Stoinis), MI (Rohit, Pollard), KKR (each of them). Made a squad from long term perspective. But it someone produced immediate results.

thought they made mistake this year releasing Gurbaz and getting Williamson. Their batting is still light.Rashid-Tewatia save them many times.
