When it comes to intent, SKY is definitely 100 times better than Kela. But that's of no use to the team.   Coz when it comes to delivering result in a KO game, SKY = Kela.  SKY averages below 20 against all teams in multi nation tournaments such as Asia Cup and ICC trophy (minnows and SA excluded).  And he has no excuse of trying to figure out his game.  He is already 32.  Older than Kela.

No, that’s not what this is about. In KOs, he is as good as Kela. All talunt, 360 deg is of no use, if he can’t deliver in LOs. But he will need to be given as many opportunities as it takes. If Kela gets criticized for not delivering in KOs, Sky, for now, gets it too. Let’s talk of intent etc later which is of no consequence as we got KOed no matter what

KL has played 1 50 over wc and 2 Wt20s as a starting player. Sky was more or less a fringe player and dispensable last WT20 and this is his first full wt20 as a regular. Also not to mention all the other tournaments  and series Rahul has played all these years in all conditions while this is SKY’s first tour to Australia.

 

 

Yes SKY has failed in most big games too but so has the team collectively. That’s not to excuse KL Rahul or anyone for the matter.

I have hated on SKY too but c’mon if one guy has earned to catch a break it’s got to be him.

 

Rahul scoring 50’s doesn’t help his cause based on his IPL Orange cap results. Him

playing out maidens sticks out like a sore thumb.

Ya, keep polishing the National treasure until we win a KO game or ICC . Anyhow KL will be dropped, seniors retire, there will not be any more excuses for failure to deliver in KOs. I will be the first to celebrate if it happens.

Rohit has played so many tournaments, can't even dominate one T20 tournament being an opener. Look at Warner and Buttler and what they have done and look at Rohit Bhai, bas IPL jitaega apni team ko.

we have so many softies that we could make an entire bed plusher than an eiderdown out of them
