Babar Azam is over hyped in t20is

Nonsense, he is very good batsman who serves their team very well. Pakistan has lower order batsmen who can go for leather from ball one. Those lower order batsman also don't have ability to last more than few overs.

Both Azam and Rizwan work for Pakistan. They might not now work for other teams.Pakistan t20 team is very well balanced especially for UAE pitches.

Not Salty. Pant is also under criticism for the same reason. Mid 120 strike rate is poor.  KL Rahul is also criticized for low strike rate in this Asia cup

Don't compare Pant to either Rizwan or Azam. They play totally different roles for their teams. Pant is failure in t20s , where the Pakistani duo are very good for their team.It is not Pant's fault he is not suited for middle order.

He's a consistent batsmen. Does not have that extra gear that great white ball batsmen  have. Does not matter in tests so he can still be a terrific test batsmen. His technique is superb.

Babar is weak in T20s

Rizwan weak in ODIs

Pant in T20s

Smith/Root/Kane in T20s

etc.

Very tough for batsmen to master all 3 formats in this age. Only going to get tougher as we see more divergence.

Very good batsman but not for T20’s. Rahane level player and that’s a compliment. If he has half the career of Rahane in tests and given his odi records which is his strong suit, a pretty good world class player.

already bloating up so let’s see how long it lasts but I do enjoy watching him bat. Very elegant batsman.

Babar not being an enforcer is no surprise. He is a slightly built guy with more text book approach.  Can make some quick runs inside power play. But power game is not his forte. If he tries to bat like Afridi he will regress in all formats. Saeed Anwar was also a small guy. But he had this strong forehands and wrists with which he could flick balls for six.

.:canabis: Rahane himself is averaging below 40

Ab uska bhi half hogya to kya hoga Harbhajan singh

Fine let’s wish he has the long and successful career of a 61 averaging Adam Voges.
