Such a disgraceful trundler line up for the Aus WT20

 

A bowling unit  where Hardik Pandya is your fastest in terms of pace doesn’t deserve hype.

 

yes Bumrah will be back but just like it has been happening since ages, they will play out his 4 overs and smack the rest.

 

Pace is pace and let’s not underestimate Srilanka either. They have 2 -145+ bowlers who were not playing due to injury and they have 2 more youngsters hitting 140+ in their ranks. Not to forget their spinners.

 

Pak team and squad will probably have 4-5 bowlers hitting 145+.

Rauf, along with that 16 year old were trolled massively based on a few matches. But they showed patience with their fast bowlers. Probably the only thing we can learn from this otherwise incompetent board.

• Hasaranga , Shadab , Theekshana are better attacking spinners then ours
• Shaheen obv is currently the best left armer in world and Madhushanka looks damn good 
• Rauf is a high pace hard length bowler who has been consistent we dont have one, the ones we have havent been consistent or has other issues

 

We play whatever best we have , no point thinking about what we dont have .

they are more exciting to watch than Harshal,Bhuvi and even Arshdeep (whom I like and appreciate). That’s the point I am making.

Didnt praveen kumar win u CB series ?? IRfan was the other important guys in those final.........who by that time was a trundler and didnt get as much swing those days 

Irfan also played a massive role in WC t20 , 2007 as a 1st change bowler..................trundler those days.............That was in SA , fresh pacy wkts

Bhuvaneshwar is a big worry.

Lets hope he bowls 3 overs up front and gets swing in those overs. Then 1 over in between. He is a hit-me bowler after that and we have to save him.

 

Other than that I think Bumrah Pandya and Arshdeep will do the job. Might not be exciting but a decent pace attack.

Yesterday was the 1st time in a really long time that I sat and watch the pakistan bowling with interest. Both rauf & nassem shah were very good. They had pace and swing. Along with the left armer pakistan shouldn't be finding it tough to get early wickets.

 

However in spin bowling, SL is better.

Mohit Sharma had Umesh and Shami who were both clocking 145+ in that tournament.

 

Praveen and Irfan had Sreeshanth (natural 140 bowler), RP (clocking 140), Ishant (clocking 145+) and an Indian ATG Zak playing support.

 

Also Irfan is a multi dimensional player. PK could slog too.

 

There is a room for only one such bowler: only 1 of Thakur, Chahar, Harshal, Arshdeep should be in the X1 at one time. They all are backups for each other. Not the entire attack. Also Arshdeep needs to either up his pace or develop other skills. Won’t survive long with accuracy at 130+. He is a left armer and uses the angle well so he has a lot of upside so him and Bishnoi should be in the 15 while the coaching staff develops them. That’s about it.

Sreesanth was a liability 

Ishant and Pk i dont think played togther

RP bowled well so at the end more then speed bowling well matters

Zak didnt play either

Everyone needs to improve something, the ones bowling those speed needs to improve a lot more then arshdeep
