He can hit high spees when he wants. Also bowls that test match length that can be handy in late overs if he gets it right. And also he can bowl bouncer better. express bowling 1

No option. Not the perfect choice. But he has the ability to break the game with one seriously good over even when he is not doing well. Steady eddies are much riskier compared to these erratic bowlers like Siraj who can go both ways. Ankit_sharma03 1

IndianRenegade Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 Total eff up, Bumrah & Harshal are supposed to come back & fix our bowling. one is injured & other has terrible form since return. now we will figure out Bumrah replacement once we reach Australia. Next to WI we must be the worst at managing personal.
adi B Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 Out of the options I'd definitely pick siraj . We already have Bhuvi and Arshdeep ,Don't need another similar one dimensional bowler in Chahar . Tbh ,This current set up is bound to fail ,The bowling line up is non existent with hardly any t20 specialist in it. The coaches are clueless and don't have an iota of how this format should be approached. A couple of final tweaks to the bowling line up won't change anything especially when the gameplan is so defensive
putrevus Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 While everyone is focussed on lack of fast bowlers right so but we don't have spinners either. Hasranga , Shadab, Zampa, Rashid , even Maharaj all have outbowled Indian spinners.Axar tooks a pounding in this series, his bowling speeds and lengths are perfect for LHB to tee off. vivek04 1

True ,some fools here think that the spinners will suddenly perform miracles and that too on Australian pitches. They are getting smashed here in India when there's still some purchase off the wkt ,in Australia it'll be 0! We don't have any t20 specialist in the line up and the spinners in the squad are bang average ,they'll get lined up by good teams ,make no mistake . raki05 and putrevus 2

Hasaranga travelled in Australia. Going at 10 an over. These fast skiddish bowlers may not have the same success in Australia. You have to generate bounce. Kuldeep did. Bowled well 4 years back. Most recently Sundar is an exception. Lot of spinners travelled there. Theekshana was very good. But you can't call him strictly a spinner. He can also swing the ball while spinning.

Only scenario where India can completely turn it around is when there is swing on offer. We have like 3 bowlers who can do that. Bhuvi, Chahar, Arshdeep. At the WACA during December and early Jan fremantle doctors is very strong which aids swing bowling. During fall as well you get a bit of breeze. Oct/November. I think it starts in the afternoon. Swing bowlers play a big part during this phase.
vvvslaxman Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 @SRT100 You think there will be swing on offer? How is the weather?
straighttalk Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 The nos 8 to 11 in my opinion should be Chahar Ashwin or Bishnoi Arshdeep Umesh or Shami or Siraj
vvvslaxman Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 2 hours ago, adi B said: No one is bankable in this squad tbh It comes down to match ups. Pandya the bowler will be required more than Pandya the batsman. He has to extract bounce off the pitch against Paksitan. Entire line up is susceptible against short ball. Knowing fully well, going in with floaty bowlers will be a crime. SRT100 1
