But those are massive misses. And very obvious areas to be targeted. As we have seen so far, even the likes of Scotland and Holland are better prepared to target their opponents. 

 

India need a complete overhaul in terms of strategy after this.

We have Pant over Karthik if they want lhB. Shami can bowl high oa e hard length if required on these grounds.

 

For the right arm off spinner , Ashwin completely skipped out of my mind. Lol

Pant lack of succcess has been a concern , most imp his numbers against SLA doesnt solve any problem 

shami hard length haven't been strong ever although aussie tracks will give him extra kick

 

so u can say these are kaam chalau options as of now

With all the selection blunders aside.. wishing team India and luck to go beat the green bros and return to the winning ways in WC. Ideally wish India to go the distance but it's a wishful thinking with the bowlers selected.

1. Weather forecast and match pressure probably will knock 10-15 off the par score. So normally I'd say 185 is par at the MCG, but tomorrow 170 might be par.

2. Shaheen who is the gun bowler for Pakistan is coming in without any match play - chance possibly to take advantage for the opener.

3. India's bowling attack looks much lighter without Bumrah.

4. Pakistan's middle order is absolute trash.

5. Perhaps the biggest point, it seems as if this Pakistan side doesn't have the same fear of India in tournaments as previous teams.

 

I don't think either side is that much stronger than the other. As always though it'll be the weaker sides of the game that will probably decide the outcome, how will India's bowling face up to Pakistan's batting?

Hope we bat first...batting first in big game is the key, especially at the G. But knowing our management, they are perhaps still on Dubai mode and would like to chase.

 

That is why I want us to lose toss tomorrow bcoz both Babar and Rohit would like to chase which will be a wrong decision.

 

Pakistan is not chasing anything > 175 in a big ground like MCG.

Don't fall for that trap...weather is unpredictable. It may rain or may not but we need to bat first.

It is looking like a  toss up between Harshal and Shami. If Shami plays then we need Ashwin over Chahal for the batting. If Harshal plays then Chahal may get the nod and Ashwin sits out. 

 

Rohit may prefer Harshal plus Chahal with Shami missing out .

Yep, bat first. Today matches showed batting first help also pressure of chasing on bigger grounds is tough
