Rohit hasn't fired in a single KO,yes WC15 50 over QF he did make a 100 but then again it was BD

Kela and Rohit both set a very bad tone, two names that one will never ever have in their KO playing XI

He and Kela are almost certain to be free walking wickets for opposition in big games

This side needs him now more than ever before,high time he gets us off to a flying start,Kela being kela will fail(i bet even the TM knows it)

But ,Rohit the talent and skill which you posses must translate into something

Rohit is flop in knockout and KL is no show.  Kohli will play some 40 ball 50. It is all the surya now.  Pandya can do some quick 30 in 15 balls and DK if playing then he can havoc 9 in 4 balls.  
hope ashwin can play inns of his life and get us to 170.

I think Rohit needs to play more selective shots...getting out to hook and pull and straight to the fielder in test and t20s isn't done..he is too experienced and classy player to do that..slogging isn't his game but hitting out after getting set is. So India has two such players ..Kohli and Rohit. Pitches are spicy in first half.

 

1. Take two overs to assess condition.

2. Kela should hit out after that .

3. If Rohit is out... Virat comes in else sky.

4. By the time second wicket falls...virat can take the strike rotation while Rohit can now strike big.

And he shd identify the zone...longer boundaries and fielder placement..before taking those risks..

 

Also got god's sake...lose some weight...he is resembling ranatunga these days

So, what? They are knockouts in a ICC world events. Same thing with SF in CT 2017. So, what if it is BD. In 2015 QF, we were not even easily winning in that match before Rohit stepped up the gas along with Raina.

Even in 2015 SF he was taking on Starc, Johnson and Hazlewood but Kohli's 1(13) completely took the momentum away.

Should be his last T20 tournament.   He should also quit ODIs immediately after 2023 WC.    Since 2019 WC, he has missed nearby 60% of all intl matches across formats due to injury/poor fitness. His protruding belly sums it all.

Rohit has not done much in t20 overall in any tournament.But he carried India team to semis in 2019 world cup.

 

People easily dismiss group stage runs , if Rohit and Kohli don't score in group stages , India does not reach knockout stages. It is bit too much to expect same people to fire in almost every match of the tournament.

 

Dhoni was carried by his team to 2011 finals without him doing anything. When did Kohli and Rohit have that luxury. Now in this cup it is Surya and Kohli, you cannot win any tournament with just two batsmen firing in all matches.

When he scores some runs at 200 SR we will  talk about him . Shadab can score 20 ball fifty but it is bit too much to expect more 100 SR from our great allrounder.

he is surved by hard line balls. Unfortunely, he can't play a proper shots like Rahul or kohli and he can't play unorthodox like Surya. :) 

he is becoming liability and that is why we need Pant and Hooda. We still have to keep hardik because of his bowling. DK and Axar should go in next two matches.

Without Rohit clicking we are going nowhere. You can't depend on Kohli/SKY all the time given the inadequacies of players batting at 5,6,7.  India has the worst 5,6,7 dare i say?  It makes our job even harder.

Most serious and pressing problem is not trundlers or openers.  Most pressing problem is no.5/6/7. Pakistan is comfortably outbatting us in that area. They have better finishers than us. What do you know. What has it come to?

Pandya atleast gives you overs .. his net contribution somewhat matters .. Axar has pretty much been useless as an overall value and dk should just retire
