I did not see anyone other than Umran who is clearly not ready. Who are those 145 plus bowlers

Bumrah

Tyagi

Sen

Saini

All these quicks can bowl entire overs at 143 k to 147 k.

Srinath too was on his last legs,

Akram fastest was 145kph and Srinath dleivered fastest of his at 156kph

A wc before he clocked the second fastest delivery only behind Akhtar

He is not even in the same ball park as two Ws in any aspect of fast bowling.

Saini give it a break we have seen how wonderful bowler he is, no need to have that guy in any Indian team. I would take Bhuvi over Sen if the choice is just two of them.

Tyagi I thought was injured, I really like him.

In 2003 Akram and Younis were on last legs. So bowling faster than them then is no great achievement.

Akram and Younis at their peak were better faster and more scarier than Srinath ever was at any point in his career .They both are ATG fast bowlers unlike Srinath.

So was Srinath, infact he retired before the WC in 2002 only to be come back on Ganguly's request...furthermore Waqar is 2 years younger than Srinath.

This discussion is not who's ATG but who's faster...and Srinath beats both easily.

Then you will get the same result again and again.

Unless you won't try, you will not know who's better than whom. If you're going by domestic stats then by that logic Vinay Kumar and Dhawal Kulkarni should be the ATG's.
And when I say try, I don't mean play them 1-2 matches here and there and then drop for good. Give them a consistent run and then see what they can do.
Siraj despite making his debut in 2017 has only played 13 ODI's, 13 Tests and 6 T20I's...while someone like Avesh Khan has played 5 ODI's and 15 T20I's in 2022 itself.

I am not asking for his inclusion. You asked who are the 145 k+ bowlers and he is one of them.

Sen hasn't debuted for India yet. So a veteran of 9 years will be preferred by many.

After Sen plays 15 or 20 LOIs, the perspective may change.

It's not possible to get readymade players in international cricket and there is s grooming process involved.

Bhuvi is 32+. 10 years in international cricket. Still bowled like a debutant in the SF. Can give a year or two at least to someone like Sen who is a genuine quick and with more potential to become a match winner.

Lets not go by the speedometer. Who do you guys think is the faster ever Indian bowler?

I thought Srinath was very quick in his early days.  But not sure if any others including the current gen bowlers are faster. There was this bowler called David Johnson. He looked quick. Had a nice action and he was a good exponent of reverse swing.

If you ard talking about which Indian Pacers have looked the quickest visually then I would say ....

1.  Bumrah of 2017 to 2020

2.  Srinath of 1994 to early 1997

3.  Prasidh when he is bowling full steam

4.  Shami of 2016 to 2020

Umran Malik and Kartik Tyagi look very quick from time to time too but haven't included them here as they have not played much or any international cricket.

Varun Aaron during the Adelaide test bowled very quick, a odi against sl in cuttack before he got injured his average speed was around 146kph, fastest 152kph.

We are not talking about ballpark or jurassic park

Conversation is about who was quicker

It was Srinath who was quicker

Srinath was quicker for what, going for more runs.

So you think Sen would have won the match for India? They did not take a single wicket.

Bhuvi should have been kicked out  long time ago from the team.  But on that day other than Bumrah , I don't think we had any chance from anyone else. You may disagree that is fine.

This myth about Srinath is a bit like Atul Sharma.
Espn produced a list of speed gun recorded deliveries and Waqar was just behind the likes of Akhtar, Lee and Hayward i think. Srinath well behind in terms of pace and skill.
