Razzaq had expericenced dizziness and nausea during Pakistan's tour of New Zealand, in early 2004, and he was put on a diet of spinach by a medical guru in Pakistan. "Somebody told him to have spinach all the time," Zakir Khan, the Pakistan board's operation manager, told The Melbourne Age. "So he loves spinach and wherever he goes he says spinach should be part of the diet, in Pakistan particularly. The other team-mates tease him and call him Popeye the Sailor Man."

Unlike your MSK Prasad and Chetan at least they can go to toilet without having permission from the captain.

it will be the other way. babar will ask for lala's permission for everything

Pakistan currently need to motivate their player after 3-0 whitewash at home & there is no better man than Razzak for this job. He has been hyping their domestic talent as if they are bradman level. Ofcourse if you can't beat opposition teams at home atleast be delusional and fool their awam into thinking how much talent they have coming for future.

I am sure he will also say that Razzaq (himself) was better than Kapil Dev or Vinoo Mankad in tests

Whatever ... as long as they stop selecting these old farts and go with younger guys.

time to select misbah ul haq, shahid afridi, shoaib malik, and mohd hafeez. all 4 were playing cricket until a few years ago and/or are still playing

As far as maximising the available resources go, Pakistan selectors are much better than our selectors.

I'm confident that Afridi will bench Rizwan or force him to play less selfishly in LOIs. Even Babar will have some pressure to show intent in T20s now.

Right, they had picked a good bunch for T20s unlike us. But they're restricted by tunnel vision looking at their test side.

They don't have many options. As bad as Naseem and Rauf are in tests, they're still better options than Muhammad ali/faheem/Abbas

I think Hasan will be picked again next series
