I'll go the optimistic route - 339/6  ending up around 430 odd the next day.  And then innings depheeeat.

I think 400+ is off the table, and so is innings defeat.  Getting to 370 is not assured, in fact I'd take it very happily right now.

India could get bowled out inside the first 30mins of play today or bat till after lunch.

 

I think we can expect an overall lead of around 175, a lot of pressure will be on Australia.

 

Usman and Warner will try and atone for their poor start to this series.

Exciting day ahead.

Labu and Smith will take Australia to over 300.

Thats 50 more runs, you would take that straight away. Once this partnership is broken, Shami and Siraj should roll over.

 

On Indian pitches in the first session, there is a bit in the pitch for the bowlers, as I mentioned we could easily be rolled out for under 330, like how Australia collapsed.

I would be very worried if India have to chase anything more than 125 on this pitch in the 4th innings.

We need to crush them in the second innings, no dropped catches or missed stumpings/run outs should be afforded. Most of you might not remember this but I said back in second innings of TB test 2018 that the dropped catch of Buttler can hurt us badly & it did the next game! Buttler scored a hundred in the 3rd test & the confidence he gained allowed him to save Eng from a similar position in the 4th test. Heck if PP(Pant?) didn't drop him he might well have been dropped for the next game. Do not let them get anything from this match, nothing of that self confidence or whatever!

Even I had the same thought. But Smith has come down from godly heights of batting and our bowlers don't fear him anymore.

Nha all bullshit. He has always had weakness vs bounce and proper spin on turners. 

 

He is still close to his peak. He just has been figured out post archer incident.
