beginning to feel that he is probably the worst catcher ever in Indian cricket.. so many dropped catches that people lost count and now its a surprise if he doesn't drop one.. has incredible PR & media support which masks this.. wonder what kind of fool rohit is to put kohli in slips.

what's more annoying is his clown face after dropping a sitter.. its not too different from his expression after getting out these days

For someone who's played so many games easily the worst slip fielder ever, I doubt even fixers from Pak dropped as many!

Exactly. That is what is more annoying. Kohli has been among the worst at catching in our cricket history. There was a time when he was dropping more than half the catches that were coming his way. Just because he posts his fitness videos, passes yoyo test with flying colors and runs around the field, the commentators have weaved a false narrative of him being an excellent fielder. He is not.

Kohli's SM fanbois are worse than gutter rats. Not surprisingly many of them come from Brothelwood ghettos. Easily the most annoying fanbase of any cricketer. They do him no favour.

I heard rohit is not in slips cause of finger injury he got on bangladesh tour. Who else can stand in slips? I saw rahane take great catch in 2017 BGT and he was pretty good slips fielder atleast for spinners. Kohli probably doesn't have enough patience to stand there. Idk if pujara can stay there cause of knee issues. Rahul is shot on confidence so who is left? Sky idk? maybe if gill/iyer plays they can be tried.

Seeing him failing is such a treat these days...  Nothing against Kohli he is losing his reflexes &,  eye sight.  No amount of vegan diet can save his fall. 

Smashing a hopeless lanka team on flat pitches in ODIs gave his fans a false sense of hope. 

He is still a handy anchor role type player to have but not remotely close to being best player in the team. 

Eager to see him humiliate himself in this series...  Left arm spin of Kuhnemann is coming as well now.

Glad that someone finally created this thread.   Loli has been dropping too many catches for ages.  Lucky that it didn't cost us the 1st test.   Our fielding coach(not sure what his name his) should tell loli that he should visualise the ball as a tasty food item (like pizza or burger or KFC) while attempting the catch.  That's the easiest way to improve his catching skill..(IMO).
