Starc, Green, Cummins with two spinners is a very good attack. Cummins's captaincy has been horrible, he is all over the place with no set plan on what he wants to do as a captain. Him not attacking the Indian batsmen with so many weak links and just 100 runs to defend was moronic, he could have squeezed India lot harder with attacking fields. It does not matter if match is finished in 15 overs or 30 overs.

Tests in India follow the same pattern, opponents batting first and getting a sub par total, us outscoring them comfortably (last test was an exception!!!), them folding in 3rd innings, either no 4th innings or puny target. Need to break this pattern, bat first up (and preferably also a 3rd innings to add salt to their wounds), bury them under a mountain of runs and win by 300-400 runs. Also Shami will be rested as his old man body is definitely not going to last 3 tests in a row. Hope khujara gets dropped now that his 100 test record is done but that would be wishing for too much.. It does not matter if match is finished in 15 overs or 30 overs. They almost did. They had us 7/139 chasing 263 and made us lose 4 wickets chasing just 115. A 250 run lead realistically would have won them the game. Vijy 1

Might as well focus on preparing for the finals and getting players used similar conditions. Need all our batsman to get runs and feel good about their game. I am pretty sure we can still beat Aus in atleast one of the 2 tests. SRT100 1
