Wanna see Buttler having a dry season, performance wise. KL playing like it's 2018 again. Punjab qualifying for the first time after after 2014. Gill playing like a proper T20 batsman. Samson having an actual big season. CSK and MI not qualifying once again.

Samson has matured as a batsman and is a high strike rate Indian batsman too but somehow he just find ways to not be consistent enough.

He had two cheap failures and one run out in three games even though he played two top knocks this season.

Fans following IPL for IPL … No armchair scouts looking at IPL as if players are being played for them to judge and create some irrelevant India playing 11!

difference between a middle class home maker demographic cheering for  Dhoni hitting a 6 irrespective of result and an educated and passionate  cricket fan :dontknow:

Nah, almost everyone is a “cricket”expert in India, but not many understand “sports” … the 2nd group is probably folks with lots of time on hand and not many to hear their story.

Faster pitches with more bounce. Longer boundaries (wishful thinking).

More innovative rules unlike this lame ‘impact player’  thing that’s been introduced (copied).

Also more real time stats. Not those lame stuff that the keep throwing on our faces like strike rates and averages and ‘win probability’, orange cap, purple cap lol. Want stuff like velocity of the ball after impact with the bat, change in speed of the ball after it pitches and how that compares for different bowlers and different grounds. Etc.

Also stuff like when the batter hits a really long six., what exactly was the key factor that drove that range. Angle of elevation, speed at impact etc.  Comparison of those huge sixes with the ones that barely crossed the ropes. The list can be endless. These retards don’t even have the equipment/software to show instantaneous bowling speeds. In 2023 seriously?  Also stuff like how fast the running between the wickets is? Who’s the fastest runner etc.
