They just needed to bat one more session, we had a good lead in the first innings. One more session - 50/100 more runs & 30-40 less overs for Eng to chase them. Only a draw or India win was possible from there, who the * came up with the same brain dead plan from WTC 2021 day 6 first session?

Like I said it's almost as if they're paid to lose :whack2:

Bowling was poor. But given the lead India got India should have taken a much bigger lead and removed loss out of the equation something our batting failed to do. Second of all, Bairstow was dropped by Vihari when he was mere 17.  Third of all bowling rotation of Bumrah in England,  bowling rotation of KL Rahul in SA was downright mediocre. Strategically we were poor. A better captain would have defended it well. Having said that , batting failure is equally reponsible. The only reason we were even alive in that test was due to Pant/Jaddu partnership. We cannot deny that.

Whose Ninja decision was it to let Bumrah lead in the TM?

Who has no history of leading a side

In one of the tests saved by England in England, Broad was out caught behind but did not walk. It was clear edge.

today he behaved as though he is a saint of the spirit of cricket

Broad added 28 more runs and england won that match by 14 runs.

yes  that is one series they failed as they got over worked , how many other series did they fail?

Indians failed to defend two test in SAs, they were not even close.

Indian bowlers took only two wickets. Aussies atleast took more wickets in both Sydney and Gabba.

correct. 3 wickets. should have picked a tall bowler. cause of bumrah the captain. and kela useless.

had virat been captain, would have been different.

our bowlers were ruthless and fit under viarat and bharat. now unfit under useless mambrey and rohit

rohit discarded yo yo tests btw? did you know that?

just so his big bum can make the squad. shameless.

either way the losses you can blame on indian bowling are very few. 3 at best.

or maybe 4

and most of them with kela or bumrah as captain.

how many has batting cost us.

what people dont understand here is impact of smith laby warner and khawaja.

our batting is not close to their level.

batting is awful as we never pick our talented young gen batsmen or play them out of position when they do get a chance.

take smith out and aus would get destroyed. same cant be said for us. we will fight with whoever we have.

smith fatigues the opposition bowlers and conversely makes it easier for his side to attack with their bowling as they get additional rest.

give india smith and we would destroy every team.

Also, dont forget india has been a poor fielding side too. not the worst but we do drop some key catches.

Appears to be another close game made interesting by Stokes 150 odd.

Aus is able to win important moments. Eng will have to push hard and therefore willl be interesting to see how it tries to make a comeback. Maybe someone like a Wood will get a look in.

Smith takes that catch right after lunch it's an AUS win by 110 runs and no one gives a **** about the rest of the series.

AUS are by far the superior side and are saying f' your Bazball b'****.

Australia will win their first Ashes away series after 20+ years? Thats a big moment for them, but that is a long wait...

Impressive captaincy and plans by Roly McDonald and Cummins in both these Tests. Cummins should be a bit more proactive in going back to defensive lines and fields even when he has more runs to play with. Should have done that immediately after lunch.

Only at 292/6 , did they finally start bowling wide when Stokes had the down slope on his legside and tighter and shorter when the upslope was on his legside. Completely shut him down and waited for him to lose patience and try to hit against the seam movement and the wind.

How the hell did we not figure this out. Such idiots we have in management. Mambray is useless.
