A rare selfless Indian player, so much to like about Saha. Unlucky guy, sandwiched between Dhoni and Pant eras, but will be fondly remembered. Champion.

Gained a lot of respect for Dhawan and Saha. Both made way for youngsters with grace, no badmouthing or crying (Yuvi, Bhajji keep whining about their ousters till date), wished their replacements well and stepped out of limelight. Both ready to give up their spots for young prospects, both can be good mentors IMO.

And here we are considering him for longer formats

He perhaps making him available only for shorter formats,

Very bad on his part

A non regular like him having this attitude,paints a clear picture what is the attitude of seniors/regulars towards national duties(this is certainly it)

With his flawed technique even for T20 standards,he needs better back it up with short format performance whenever it come his way

Probably pissed at TM thinking of picking (tha)Kela instead of him for the WI tour. Not a great decision; he could have played DT. Now TM has an excuse to yellow card him, not that he cares. 

Kishan with his issues versus swing wasn't a good pick for the finals in the UK anyway but for WI it might have worked out in India's favour.

Anyway, time has come to prepare format specialists in India. Let Ishan Kishan play 20-20, till Pant comes back we can invest on Bharath and Upendra Yadav in Tests.

Its because he knows he will get picked for the test team anyway.. so why slog in Duleep Trophy when the metric for Test selection is IPL...

This is going to be a trend. Players will start skipping long term formats. But we are not picking guys who take this format seriously.   IT is a privelege to play Tests for India. But that notion died long time back.

test team should only be picked based on ranji and duleep trophy matches.
