The BJP bots like @coffee_rules and @ravishingravi will defend this blatant nepotism by ignoring this.

If you hire a manager who can never be fired due to nepotism, things will never improve but the media with their censorship will never allow this news to get out.

Already 50 over cricket is dying. With this type of mismanagement it will die a much quicker death.

I don't even think we may even have a 50 over worldcup in 2028. Even if we do, with such blatant nepotism, it will have the lowest viewership ever.

Arrey mere congressi chatukar, you can knock off jay shah and Amit shah for all I care. My cause doesn't hinge on either of them or on BJP.

Pakistan sends terrorists and kills Indians. Do you agree with that ? Then why should india even visit Pakistan when that’s the case.

Absolutely the wrong way to think! Rise above the hate. See beyond community/divisional lines.

Some groups within both countries have exploited hatred to drive a wedge between brothers and people who care for each other. Let's see past this manipulation.

Both Pakistan and India have experienced incidents related to hate and terrorism. Remember the Samjhota Express tragedy? Also, it’s common knowledge that an Indian operative was apprehended in Balochistan, and now India acknowledges he’s an Indian citizen and ex navy officer.

Once again, we must be discerning about propaganda and hold our governments accountable for their actions. Are they investing in education? Are they generating employment opportunities? We shouldn't allow them to divide us with hatred to distract us.

Ordinary individuals like us should unite on shared values, because only love can combat hatred!

So the much anticipated clash against Pakistan got washed out. The media, fans, broadcasters everyone was eagerly waiting for this game but it turned into a farce.

Now the weather forecast says there is a high probablity of rain again tomorrow during our clash with Nepal.

Not only that, all the remaining matches are scheduled in Colombo where it is continously raining. There is a high probablity that most super 4 games and finals will be affected by rain as well.

I know weather is not in everyone's hand but Jay Shah has to take the blame for it. He had the option to have this tournament in Pakistan which he denied. If Deep Dasgupta can go there, if BCCI dignitaries can go there....why cant the players?

And if GOI was not permitting the team to visit there, he could have hosted it in UAE or BD. Not only he choose SL in the middle of monsoon but also rejected the proposal to host it in drier venues like Dambulla.

Not only we fans being denied to enjoy a brilliant tournament but players are also missing out on some high quality matches before world cup.

Its absolutely shambolic how this whole situation has been handled. As cricker fans, pls join this thread to share your frustration on BCCI/Jay Shah.

Are you facking kidding? Sending some falana dhimka  is not the same as the cream of National players to a he’ll hole!

Agree with you, let Rahul Gandhi be  the secretary, manager, treasurer , PR manager, announcer, DJ, peon, chaprasi, PM to solve all your Randi Rona! Khush?
hadh hai, haath dhoke peeche pade ho? Read how secretary of BCCI is appointed ? It is a sham election like president of INC. GoI has no say in it, it is a private enterprise!

Haha, government of India has zero say in appointing PM's right hand man's son.

Wow, the brainwashing of bots is next level.

You can't defend it and have to bring in RG who has nothing to do with this issue.

I don't even know what to write, it's probably the dumbest thing I have read in this board.

Your cause is just pretending to be neutral but being a bot in the end.

No difference than ChatGPT responses.

Can’t help if you are a bird brain! It is not the GoI appointment, but a sham election because of an influential person in society. Sharad Pawar was the BCCI President not because of his ability but influence and stature. Same here.

We tried many times to shake hands with Pakistan we got bit every time.  It’s not worth anymore. We lost too many lives to even consider this thought. Pakistan is created based on religion and hate against India. It lingers on for generations.

If you replace India with Pakisan in that statement, then that’s what most Pakistnis are told to think and do think. It’s not true. Powerful sections within both countries have never made genuine and sustained efforts to build ties because it doesn’t serve their interests.

the intelligent and empathic ones among us are those who have realized that hate, greed, and selfish egos are the problems, not any specific individuals, communities or nations.

Your whole policy is built on bleeding India by many cuts, even now at your lowest you still harbour and fund terror groups to create trouble in Kashmir, we have had four wars with you and each time Pakistan was a aggressor, you have completely wiped Hindu minorities from your pop, all this fake bhaichara with India is useless, all you want is some bcci money, until your terror policy towards don't change India will never travel or have good ties with Pak.

Pro-India means being honest about where country can improve and challenging authority.

Not hiding behind the guise of patriotism as that has never lead to prosperity. Even during the time of Hitler and other dictators, they ran their rule with the excuse of patriotism.

In this particular case Jay Shah can never be fired for mismanagement and poor leadership even though he leads BCCI which is the richest board in the world by far. Money is not an issue here as is the case with a lot of government programs. The issue is lack of leadership and accountability.

If you have a solution to this, explain or run away like you always do when presented with facts.

Lol sure that's what happened.

You should get with the program instead of trotting out stale anachronistic platitudes that have Long since run their course while trying to take some non-existent moral high ground. It stopped cutting any ice quite a while ago.
