They qualified due to the superhuman effort of Logan Van Beek. Smashed quickfire runs to score a tie chasing a mammoth total.,smashed 30 again in the superover and took 2 wickets. Ned were not meant to lose that day. It just wasn't the day of the West Indies.

Like Ireland of 2011, Zimbabwe last year. Self-belief is more important for these minnow sides, often due to gulf in quality they give up before 1st ball is bowled. Why can't they have 16 teams and have two groups. They might have some bad matches but that is how you build weaker teams. This is an complete brainchild of ECB and ACB, they didn't want to waste money as hosts . Having two matches in a day is not going to be the end of world either for ICC.
