NZ has mentally scarred our star spinner Kuldeep, while our batters have treated Santner as some sort of legend.

What scarred? He took 2 wickets, bowled decently in the second half of his spell. This is an overreaction. This happens to the best of the best.

he had no answer to Mitchell stepping out at will and hammering him.

The problem in his bowling is pretty simple ---- we was bowling outside offstump line when he bowled well against Pak and Aus.

Here he was bowling almost a legstump line,  ease to make room and hammer him.

My anger is against our batters..who just allowed Santner to bowl how he wanted.

Two totally different types of bowlers. Santner darting it into RHBs, and Virat especially has limited stroke options vs SLAs... Kuldeep relies on flight and on a pitch with little turn and so slow,  this was always going to be difficultfor him. He was always going to be targeted as one of 5 bowlers

Kuldeep did well towards the back end with his bowling wide of off stump tactic

There wasn't any bounce on this track so getting down was easy for Daryl Mitchell.

Santner is not that easy to put away, always in the stumps, delivers the ball at the last moment after checking feet movements, the *cker can dart one over 100 kmph and loop the next one at 30 kmph.

Kuldeep is mentally stronger than that to get scarred by a few shots hit. On Santner, he had the advantage of having Indian batsmen playing with the intent of conserving wickets after the openers got out and he bowled a good line. Occasionally bowlers like Santner will also have a good day.

Kuldeep got a hammering at the start; did well later. Klaasen is waiting for him, much like Rohit waiting for his vada paavs

We should just surrender the world cup to Klaasen and Mitchel - and let them fight for it.

We are too weak and puny of cricketing  country to have a chance against these  devastating hitting giants.

Santner is one of the best spinners for limited overs cricket right now and so is Kuldeep.

The only difference is one had an off game and came back well later and the Indians didn't want to take undue risks with Santner and allowed him to finish his overs (similar to how Jadeja was treated by the Kiwis)

We have to distinguish the difference. Santner is a fantastic possibly the best defensive spinner in the world. Kuldeep yadav on the other hand can leave you bamboozled. Fantastic offensive bowler.  This was probably the toughest track he had to bowl with no turn on offer and up against a proactive tall guy who used his long levers to good effect. Still almost got him.
