Watch out for Conway

Surprisingly quiet tournament but the guy has “clutch” written all over him. These are the kind of players who step up in knockouts.

He is the man to watch out for.

Aussies are expected to raise their game and SA in knockouts are league above us when it comes to looking like a million bucks and then crapping it.

we need to pass the Conway test.

It's going to be a tough match. Rachin, Williamson, Conway and Mitchell are great. Latham, Philipps, Chapman not bad either. Bowling is also good.

They were made to look bad against Pak due to rain and injuries.

Pak would have screwed it up eventually: they are better as the game gets shorter

It is a no brainer given how much Southee sucks. He looks like Rajat Bhatia these days

Southee is just about adequate because he is a very intelligent cricket brain and he helps the captain out with strategies etc. has 1-2 utilities on the field.  He is on his last legs and playing his last World Cup but will go down till the finale and play on just for his experience. He will probably lose in semis too and have a middling performance like take a wicket with the new ball and go at 8 rpo or something and take a great catch. Who knows he might also be runout while batting :p:

. Why does this script sound so familiar? @velu :)

yes, rachin will be on steroids playing against his "home" ethnicity. these Desi players usually play extra hard vs us to prove their authenticity to their masters

A byproduct of gora racism. Gora players from NZ and Australia have English ancestry but never get asked if they have tried to find long lost relatives in their "mother country".
