Avg of 18 when you just play handful of matches and pick just 50 plus FC  wickets is not a big deal.

 

He is 28 not 18.He has played 13 FC matches.

The fact that he has only played 12 FC games in 9 years paints the true picture. These same guys make fun of FC stats when ti comes to Mukesh, Vinay kumar etc

his career is over before it began,i had such hope but he looked like a shell of his former self after coming back from maor injury.

I think he has regressed terribly.   He played one ODI in Jan 2022 in SA.  Bowled decently.  Had nice pace & bounce. Took 3 wickets, IIRC.   Then played few odis vs Windies in Ind.  Was MOTM in one or two games.   This current performance is shockingly disappointing....Not sure what happened to him..   don't think he was this bad to begin with.

@Jaydev_Unadkat please change the title to "Prasidh Krishna is a national Trasher". He has really earned it this series. But on the positive side, this is hopefully the lowest point, from here he can only prove us(his critics) wrong.

Honestly feel a little bad for him. He showed promise in odi and was looking good in first class. Then had a big injury and just never recovered. He is also lazy I hear. Does not train batting much and barely trains for maintaining fitness/strength.

Nothing to be feel bad for tbh...if a bowler is hellbent on spoiling his own career then no one can help him. 

 

In an ideal world with his pace & height he should have bowled like what Morkel was to Steyn & Philander and hit the batters helmet hard. He had the easiest job there considering Bumrah & Siraj were doing all the heavy lifting.

 

However, that being said, I would also want BCCI to continue this experiment of finding out new quick bowlers alongside Bumrah, Shami & Siraj...all 3 are now in their 30's so one injury can cause a big vaccum for which which don't have quality backups.

Timing of bumping this thread doesn't make a lot of sense, TBH.  Prasidh didn't even play the Final, yet we lost it by a huge margin.  Goes to show that we hv much deeper problems to address.
