And it can come only if worthy replacements like Mayank, Harshit, Tyagi and Akashdeep get chances. 

 

Rather than play mediocres like Mukesh, Unadkat etc.it is better to try these young quicks while Shami is still around and the primary responsibility does not fall on the rookies.

With Shami not playing for GT, I hoped they would try Tyagi.

 

But geniuses went with Umesh, who with due respect, is old and was never good in T20

Even an old Shami, probably 38 years old in reality, is bowling much quicker, with more zip, more bounce and more accuracy than newbie Mukesh.

Shami still bowls in early 140s kmph, there is something seriously wrong high potential players not getting chances.

 

Sky waited for 2/3 years, they pushed Bisnoi out. were travelling with ks(wkt keeper) without realizing his batting and keeping skills

Ashwin in his YouTube channel talked pretty high of Mukesh and his journey to the Indian cricket team. He said Mukesh has his wrist/seam position very similar to that of Shami.

Till now they are just over selling Mukesh, he does not look like a test bowler, one day may-be/maybe not.

 

In T20s he has bowled his yorkers in last few over. DC used him in previous match as last over specialist.
