Rohan Gavaskar has to be one of if not the most boring Indian commentators, his commentary is just full of clichés and no proper insight at all.

Do not think there is any good Ind commentator, if any Ind superstar is not doing well they just do nt have guts to say anything and then when a newer player is not doing not do well they latch on them.

 

Last match LSG they discussed Sidhartha's 2nd over even after PP. Newbie who has not played much ready to bowl 1st over in PP had a 1 good over against top international openers and created few half chances  and then batters were able to get 2/3 4 of the next over still 10 runs per over...

 

Kunal Pandaya had a similar scenario in the same match but no words ..

 

When Ind stars are playing tuk-tuk and dragging the momentum down they do not say anything...

Nah Gavaskar snr phones it in half the time. He's nowhere near his true power level when usually commentating which you only see when he's pissed or angry which is when he's really astute.
