why chahal

is he our best T20 Spinner- Bishnoi is better than Chahal in Y20 and bishnoi bats and fields much better than Chahal. BISHNOI 's action is difficult to pick and he picks wickets regularly ..chahal can be considered in ODi or tests but in t20 bishnoi is better than chahal for t20

why arshdeep

he is bowling 125 to 135K , not bowling best yorkers - Khaleel is a better option.

why axar patel?

who is He ? jaddu's duplicate..but jaddu is the original and jaddu would play. why would we play duplicate ahead of original.

Chahal was completely out from T20s makes a comeback

Avesh was out from Ind side after the fever makes a comeback as travelling reserve

Khaleel was nowhere in contentions is part of travelling reserve

Pant who has SR ~125 in T20I after 60+ matches is in middle/lower middle order, when Kolhi's and Rohit's ~140SR is not good enough now is 125 is okay, if KL/Dhawan, Rohit and Kolhi can not play in 11 how come KL/Pant, Rohit and Kolhi be ok.

Mukesh kumar- Was part of Ind team in all 3 formats, played most of the games and now does not feature in top 18.

Bisnoi- Guess he played all the T20s since WC-Aus, and yet he is not in top 18.

let me check the current ICC T20 ranking for bowling. Generally i don't use that much. But it gives an idea about who is playing consistently these days.

Only chance we have with this squad is if we bat deep and bat aggressively from the get go. Pandya at 7 and Jadeja at 8. 

 

I would also go with Samson over Pant coz the former can hit better from ball 1.

Batting doesn't look so bad tbh, ample depth. I hope Rohit channelizes his WC'23 aggressiveness. 

 

Bowling looks suspect, but T20 is a batters game. Hope the batting goes berserk and does the heavy lifting. Darr ke aage jeet hai.

We cant change what the selectors select but can hope they at least take a good approach to win.

 

*Let Virat open. I think he is better to open with Jaiswal than Rohit. Rohit is more vulnerable up front and has more capability to hit later.

* Make Jaiswal bowl if needed. He is future player who can be useful with the ball. why waste him being a babu like Rohit batch who refused to bowl.

* With Dube and Jaiswal we have some bowling options if needed as Pandya is not reliable. 

* Jadeja/Axar can finish 4 overs more often than not.

* Kuldeep these days can hold a bat.
