Beg to differ here a bit. This is a sport. Merely a cricket match. Not real life. And no matter what players and writers say, it's not a battle. I don't see it as a way to demonstrate patriotism

 

IMO, we can criticize is a lack of commitment to the sport and their teammates. Not to the nation-at-large. 

 

All these guys pay taxes, abide by the law and are generally good citizens. That's enough deshbhakti.

At least toss shouldn't have a big say. Anyway ICC wouldn't have expected NY pitch to behave like this, Adelaide curator prepared this pitch.

Kuldeep is must for Sunday. India needs to move on from Axar/Jaddu. Even against USA we need Kuldeep..

The pitch/outfield factors are as you say - however Pak is a wounded animal as things stand.

 

Even if conditions are normal - it is best to approach this match like approaching a cornered wounded animal. It can be unpredictable. We should win but there is no need to be complacent.

 

In that respect the unpredictable pitch is a blessing - will keep the team on its toes.

I am honestly concerned about the game...  Poyzz will come with everything that they have & pitch conditions offer them a chance too which would have been non existent on a normal track.

 

Upar se we have picked a half baked side & are set to leave out our X factors like Jaiswal and Kuldeep.

Jaiswal will play - don't know about Kuldeep.

 

Dravid and esp Rohit are concerned about the Pak bowling. They will include Jaiswal as they need the extra insurance.

Shoonya will take care of USA bowling and Kuldeep will run riot if he plays. Not worried about them one bit. Pak has to win the match against Ind to stay relevant which makes them dangerous.Stupid team selection will hurt India. I somehow feels Pandoo will smash Pak this time.

Sunday to Monday = 1 day

Sunday to Tuesday = 2 days
