Archery just not good enough to be the best. They will keep winning these commonwealth and other things where best is not participating.

 

They are not young either, this guy Tarun is 40 and it is his 3rd or 4th olympics.

Both veternas playing their 4th olympics and both still shooting like average archers.

 

They are not meant to be olympic medalist. Both can retire and let the young lot take centerstage.

 

22 year Bommedevan and 18 year Bhajan are good enough to invest into.

Dheeraj was brilliant yesterday if anyone watched. Under pressure he hit 5 10s out of 6. His exit was decided on the stupid rule kn which can hit the better 10. His opponent’s 10 was closer. Can’t fault Dhiraj much compared to other Archers.

Tarun said his last Olympics... Deepika may have to be kicked out if she doesn't retire.

Archey and shooting have been given lot of funds and encouragement. Shooting has progressed to Olympic stage , they just need to start winning gold medals.

 

Maybe they need to weed out people like Deepika and Tarun and let younger people chances.

i had posted this with high hopes about archery some time back. My heart has been broken by these idiots. They kind of punctured it with an arrow which they hit. I didnt die because I think they still missed hitting the target. Abysmal.

Still enough to be considered for it. He has medals at every other event, World Cups, World Championships, Asian games. 

I know most of these came as part of a team, but can't dismiss it like you did.
