Pakistan would’ve had so many medals if squash had been an Olympic sport 50 years back, now that it’s making its debut in 2028, there’s a good chance.

no because pakistani squash has become really bad.

 

they lose to india on an asian level and india team itself is poor. plus ofc the eternal handicap, no women's/mixed teams.

Main disappointment is Phogat. Medal was assured and we had to go empty handed. Silver is a great achievement for Chopra

There are 300-320 events every summer olympics.  How hard is it for 1/6th of humanity to not even capture 5 gold medals if it tried ?

 

Even  tiny african nations, countries you can't find on the map win 2-3 gold medals consistently.

 

It is not about money or resources - it is about national will and character.

Stfu and apun ko chain se rone de. Olympics achievement is only tribalism about dick measuring contest among countries.

Anyway, I guess we are done winning medals this olympics. What a wonderful olympics we had Seriously, we are moving in the right direction just need to make some adjustments to check for accountability. I'm sure we will win more medals preferably gold next time around.

Now imagine if Klassen kept going  and had taken South Africa home in the WT20 final..

 

 

The last month and a half would have gone down as the most depressing phase ever in Indian sporting history. Whole of ICF would have needed therapy.

Archery and Badminton has some scope.

 

Really need to push a lot into swimming infrastructure. There are so many events in swimming.

Swimming, rowing etc will be the hardest to scout talents since most kids won't even have access
