cant believe likes of bajrang, deepak not even qualify.

Most indians who revolted were already olympic medalists. Sakshi ravi bajrang et al already had medals.. so they had actually the guts to take that scoundrel on. But what bhushan did was made sure they waste time in all these things and delayed resolution which ultimately effected the rest. No competition no practice.. same thing happened with boxing with our main body suspended. Thats the reason nikhat is unseeded and facing world no 2. If she was seeded she would have faced her maybe in semis with bronze already assured.

Really enjoyed the USAW vs ChinaW volleyball match that just finished ..high intensity full of excitement. USA was down 2 sets ,came back strongly to take the next 2 but the Chinese won the final set to win the match..Ind can never have any female compete in this sport as it requires peak fitness,stamina,strength and ofcourse height .

got to say one thing.

 

chinese have really beautiful golden skin. but due to beauty standards, they hide from the sun and apply so much pale ghost makeup. i can immediately recognize mainlander girls by their ghost face makeup. american chinese embrace that skin color though.

I don't even know if we have Greco-Roman wrestlers.

We suck at Greco, totally upper body sport, everything above waist.

 

Russians are beasts in Greco but also very good in freestyle.

Freestyle, Sambo more suited for MMA. Dagestanis, Central Asians are crazy about MMA. Most of their wrestlers eventually transition to the much higher paying sport.

Gymanstics is very nail biting as USA has a chance to nail Bronze.  They probably did it.

BTW field hockey has become so fast and they hit the ball so hard that with my bad eyesight, I can barely see the ball on TV. Have to replay the goal a couple of times to see what happened. 

 

I really cannot see the ball in action on the penalty corners.

Almost same thing happened in the turkey - netherlands women's volleyball game earlier today with Turkish women coming back to win the game after being 2 sets down.

This sport is the one to keep an eye on for sure.

USA wins bronze in the gymnastics.  Winning a medal in this category since 2008.  It was quiet good to watch.  China must be gutted like India was gutted in world cup final 2023. They were all set to win the gold. Right at the end made 3 terrible mistakes one after another and conceded gold to Japan.

Honestly we can beat any team if we even convert 30 perc of our Penalty Corners. We get around 6 to 7 per match. Today we got 10.

Fortunately we converted 9th one. TBF it seemed they redid the PC 4 times in a row at the end. 

 

Our passing and ball control were not good posession wise. Argies missed a penalty stroke.

our archers took Raina Pathak Shah’s advice to heart. They missed the trees looking totally at the  forrest and they missed the lakshya. Yede log.
