Bat avg 36 Bowl avg 24 290+ wickets 3000+ runs You want him to continue playing in test matches? His time is up. Time for Washington Sundar or Axar Patel. Link to comment
Chakdephatte
He is an Indian ATG. Home bully or whatever. He can retire and would still be our best all rounder (questionable, but a nominee). Adamant and Stan AF 2 Link to comment
Chakdephatte
Not many true all rounders in history of the game. He is among top 15-20 if not better. It is eligible for being an ATG? Link to comment

Vk1
Win atleast 3/4 tests in SENA on his own. Not those meaningless 6/140 kind of performances Link to comment
deeppoint
Much improved cricketer, a very effective cricketer, but a long way off from being an ATG. You are an ATG if either stats speak for you, or you will games for your team continuously. Think Rishabh Pant. Small career yet sort of indispensable. That's the kind of man you want. Any way, sign me up if he reaches a double of 6000 runs and 600 wickets. Link to comment

Gollum
He is already an ATG. In SC conditions he is the all time MVP. If Lillee is an ATG by performing in 2 countries, Jadeja already outranks him. Top 5 Indian test player of all time, easily. Lord 1 Link to comment

Criminal to host every final in England. Even in WCs they stopped at 3, but in WTC final it seems they'll host every single final till the competition exists. Gollum
Jadeja has 10 MOTMs in 72 tests (similar to Malcolm Marshall who had 10 in 81), and his whole career he has had to compete with Ashwin, Shami, Bumrah etc for the award Here are numbers of ATGs McGrath, 11 in 124 tests Sachin, 14 in 200 Lara, 12 in 131 Viv, 10 in 121 Steyn, 9 in 93 Cook, 9 in 161 Sehwag, 8 in 104 Anderson, 8 in 188 Greg Chappell, 7 in 87 Gilchrist, 7 in 96 Clive Lloyd, 5 in 110 ABDV, 5 in 114 Gavaskar, 5 in 125 Lyon, 5 in 129 And many more big names. Jadeja is in a very elite category, alongside Marshall, Hadlee, Kallis, Murali, Akram, Warne, Steve Smith, Donald, Rabada, Head etc. when it comes to SR. singhvivek141
What's this fascination of giving ATG to every other player in Indian Team ? Why do they need to chase meaningless milestones to ensure they counted as ATG. Few weeks back there was discussion about whether Bumrah is an ATG coz he has less than 300 wickets in Tests..why does it matter ? What if Bumrah looses form or get injured, will that be used to demean the wins he has given in these 36 odd Tests ? Kron 1 Link to comment
Adamant
Another round of good performances away from home should elevate him to ATG level. He is amongst the top 5 test cricketers of last decade. Kron 1 Link to comment
