He is an Indian ATG. Home bully or whatever. He can retire and would still be our best all rounder (questionable, but a nominee).

You are an ATG if either stats speak for you, or you will games for your team continuously. Think Rishabh Pant. Small career yet sort of indispensable. That's the kind of man you want.

was vital in mcg 2018/21. will never be as good as a pacer obviously.

He is already an ATG. In SC conditions he is the all time MVP. If Lillee is an ATG by performing in 2 countries, Jadeja already outranks him.

If WTC F were held even in Dhaka or Colombo, Jadeja/Ashwin would have given a MOTM performance. Criminal to host every final in England. Even in WCs they stopped at 3, but in WTC final it seems they'll host every single final till the competition exists.

What's this fascination of giving ATG to every other player in Indian Team ?

 

Why do they need to chase meaningless milestones to ensure they counted as ATG.

 

Few weeks back there was discussion about whether Bumrah is an ATG coz he has less than 300 wickets in Tests..why does it matter ? What if Bumrah looses form or get injured, will that be used to demean the wins he has given in these 36 odd Tests ?

If bunrah retires now he still will go down as top 10 greatest fast bowlers that ever exited. 

 

If he wins us a test series in eng and SA then top 3 even. 

Add in the wtc. 

 

He has already played close to the same amount of away matches in sena that wasim and Waqar have played. 

 

Imo he is already better than both. Best ever from Asia in all formats. I have never seen a bowler as good as him from Asia. 

 

Yes he choked in wtc final but he played with injury that time. We all saw how good a fully fit bumrah can be. 

 

Bumrah is unlucky in the sense that he doesn't get to play in SEA pitches. He would have a feast there instead he has to play home games in India.
