Stokes is easily replaceable. Root is the glue which holds their team.

Nissanka surely has more potential and Talent than Gill & maybe on par with Harry Brook.

Good display by lankans. Engerlund not having a 100% record in that home summer is a definite L. They had their moments in both the first 2 tests but couldn't make it count.

Nisanka is impressive, he has stance like Kohli but due to his short height he is much more compact and his technique is tighter. The way he dabs and cuts pacers is Tendulkaresque.

Eng had a golden opportunity of completing the minnow bashing at home and enhancing the chances of securing WTC final berth.  But they blew it away in bizzare fashion.  Losing by 8 wickets.    Well Done SL, for having kicked out Eng early.

Last couple of months have been good for SL.   Beat Ind 2-0 , followed by a test win in Eng.    Few months ago, it appeared as if Lankan cricket was completely dead.

SL have done quite well in Tests recently. Won in SA twice, win here, and always great at home. Beat poyzz too IIRC
