I wonder if the spin dependence might not boomerang on India - plus as SL tour showed, Gill, Kohli and even Rohit are not particularly good spin players as of today. Not sure about Jaiswal, Pant and the peerless KL.

One key diff is Jamal is an allrounder, or atleast "handy with the bat". I'm not sure of Yash's capabilities with bat. Slow bowlers, should always have batting ability or they should be magician with the bowl and make it talk. Bowling innocous deliveries at 130k with no movement isn't going to force batters in playing false shots.

He still play in Duleep trophy while being part of the squad.He will be back with the team once he done playing duleep trophy but now he has no idea if he is being considered or not.
