Yash Dayal did well today and I was very impressed with him with in this IPL where I thought he out bowled Siraj. 

 

But he isn't international level, at least not in red ball. 

Looks like they just want a left arm seamer, Harshit should have been there instead

In case if one of Rohit or Jaiswal is injured, who will be the backup opener ?
Gill seems unsuitable given his current weakness, maybe that's why KL came back as he can "supposedly cover" many bases.

Right decision.

 

KL is better than Sarfaraz for Australia tour. Sarfaraz is not a long term test batsman material especially overseas where India play a lot. KL is better than his stats, nobody faced tough conditions and tough away tours as much as KL in Tests.

Average of 34 is bad in Tests in this era. He's no longer a young talent to keep getting the rope.
