Karun Nair has earned a recall into the ODI set up, maybe?

Karun Nair for Eng ODIs

  1. 1. Based on his complete obliteration of domestic attacks in the recent VHT, should Karun Nair be recalled for the Eng ODI series?

Was always against his inclusion.  Domestic cricket standards are down in the dumps.  Should not be taken seriously.

I would take DPL numbers more seriously than VHT.

Jurel and Sarfaraz both robbed who at least did well in International cricket.  And this guy jumps ahead of the queue from absolute nowhere.

Absolutely pathetic call.

Can give Sai Sudarshan a rope. But not this guy. Horrible stuff. Started the collapse.

He's keeping out Iyer, Sarfaraz and Jurel. Needs to replaced unless he does something in 2nd innnings

He deserved a recall, no doubt, but put him on the hot seat. He made a very poor decision to go for a wide ball. Yes, it was a brilliant catch, but still unnecessary shot.

How did he deserve a recall. He performed in List A. Totally different format.

It was wrong to drop him when he was but that doesn't need to be corrected by another wrong

Last Ranji season he did very well. Plus had some FC experience in England, and did well in the A-match too.

Sarfaraz and Jurel did well in A game too. There's no reason he leapfrogged them

Iyer, Sarfaraz over Nair.

also Jurel will get a direct entry in the keeper quota but don’t think he is a better batsman than the above 2. Good player but backup at best. Not sold on Sarfaraz too but should be given a fair chance.

Garbage batter who was rightly kept out of the side for a decade.  Always gives losers vibes.   Has a highly inflated avg of 58 due to that 300.  Hopefully this match ends his intl career once & for all.

First class runs can be a double edged sword when it comes to selection. You never know which one will click at the international level. This is where eye test comes into picture. If you a batsman looks hurried mostly then he is not fit regardless of how much he scores in domestic.
