It’s high time the govt regulates OTT and YouTube India.

 

Mainstreaming these degenerate characters who peddle sexual pervision for views and their personal financial benefit  - inflicting filth on young impressionable minds is a cancer for society —- where abusing elders, talking filth is considered liberal and progressive. 
 

This BS has to stop with legislative actions else the young generation is going to get rotten very fast. 
 

Both of these scums -Raina, Allahbadia should be treated as untouchables. If they get away with just cosmetic action  - it will embolden others.

So you want government to stop streaming movies or series like The Borat, Dictator, The Boys etc..

 

Not happening bro.  This was a selective action for some weird reasons.

 

Folks like Elvish Rajat Dalal like content creators walk free in India and you want action on Samay for cracking jokes.  Him deleting that content should have been enough with some warnings or stuff

Mainstreaming abuse on national TV started with that idiotic show Roadies - with those maggot twins abusing for views and shock effect.  
 

Imagine a hardworking middle class family with single bread earner, who toils away to provide for the family and kid and the kid gets corrupted by watching this sort of filth. 
 

Forget about all the infrastructure, hi-tech— the way China regulates media - is something India should learn. You will never see Chinese youth exposed to such crap, all such content cannot go live through any channel in China. 0 chance.

Honestly I have no hate for Samay or Ranveer. 

 

I just don't like sexualizing family members or being overly rude towards your parents. This  had started becoming a trend recently among the Indian youth which wasn't that prevalent earlier. It's not good for any section of the society. It has to be nipped in the bud. 

 

The overreaction you see right now is the result of the pent-up anger towards this sinister trend. Those stupid comments of Ranveer A where only a trigger.

I can guarantee you if amabni or adani ibacked company would have sponsored such content page on tgis topic would have crossed 20-30 , pappu would have given self immolation warning in front if parliament. All i say is the word which Ranvir guy had said if any famous personalities would have used there would have been even bigger uproar. These words are not justified i agree content on social media and movies have been reached at downright gutter level but still these words are not justifiable.

Govt going after selective individuals is over-reach and wasteful , distraction from issues more important like economy or national security. Let parliament come up with a law to censor online content creators. @AuxiliA you should see some of the reels that Indians are producing. Ranveer just joked about it, family members are making reels doing it. These are accessible to all kids.

Your rage is misdirected.

 

The program that you guys are offended by was behind a youtube paywall. Rs 59/month has to be paid to access it. And you have be over 18 to register for the subscription.

 

So Samay, Allahabadia and the others are not mainstreaming abuse in the open as they are accused of. They are keeping it away from the young ones.

If you are going to accuse "India's got latent" of vulgarity, there are 100 other shows/programs/channels even on local cable which are accessible to everyone.

 

It is the ones who have shared the clipping making it viral on YT, X and Instagram who need to be taught a lesson. First of all they are breaching copyright laws and they are making obscenity available to everyone. If this is a court case, the ones who made it viral will face the music.
