Hardik is not a bright bulb. Pretends to speak fluent English  when he can't.  He has money. That's it.

TBH, being able to speak English is not an indicator of brightness.

He is a talented cricketer who often shows up under pressure. Clutch.

He appears to have an arrogant streak, but always gives 100% on the field and is committed to winning. Not sure why people have a beef with this guy.

Not connecting that . Just trying to stay "cool" until breaking point. He is not smart enough to take a step back and analyze what is going wrong as a captain. He is not a captain material. With MI having so many coaches and so many leaders with in MI set up he looks lost.

His success makes many jealous.

Many will not like out-spoken characters and he is one of those who expresses himself, sometimes not how someone would want him to. It is basically a dislike for character than his game. But then such critics not only dislike his character but his success as well.

Yes, he has negative side as well, like everyone does. But by no way he is a dumb cricketer. Dumb cricketers do not become the second best pace-all rounder after Kapil Dev.

He won his first IPL season as captain. He has led India as well in T20i iirc. The BCCI felt he was captaincy material, he won few T20i bilateral series for India as captain. GT franchisee trusted he was worth franchisee captain, he won them their inaugural season in IPL. He has proved at international as well as domestic level with regards to captaincy.

What a dumb dumb argument. There are players with way more success in Indian cricket. Why are they not hated?

Both dhoni and Kohli were more outspoken, why were they by hated?

There are players like Suryavanshi and others who achieved success at a much younger age. Why are people not jealous?

When you cannot refute actual points accuse others of jealously

You are free to worship any player you want, but don't insult other people's intelligence by such stupid points

I don't know, bhai, seemed like genuine excitement and joy for his team-mate's success. Kohli is the same way - OTT emotions but 100% committed on the field and overt joy when team-mates succeed too. I'd rather give these guys the benefit of the doubt.

He pulled the same thing in WT20 2022 Pak game too.Kohli hit boundaries and he shouted. That time I gave him bod

He was struggling himself with the bat, No shouting there

In IPl its hard to win when that your not your own team, only patidar with rcb did that (may be kkr with iyer) else any other captain who has lifted the trophy was their own team.

Rutu/Rahane/Axar/etc.. every1 is struggling, you need a captain and his team.. else it takes time.
