This is also why we dont give a **** about brahmapautra and china - because the MAJORITY of brahmaputra catchement area is Arunachal Pradesh - the land immediate south of the Tibet-Arunachal border generates 85% of the water volume on brahmaputra.

So china can jump up and down as upstream all it wants. it amounts to squat.

Because its perfect humanitarian crisis for china - it doesnt get direct blowback. No matter what, refugees fleeing natural catastrophe - be it in assam or dhaka- wont cross into tibet for shelter.

So it will never be their problem, except on the diplomatic front.And they got veto to negate 90% of it.

INDIA controls 85% of the water on brahmaputra. So if there is a dam in India and that gets blown up or fails or does *eries, THATS when downstream whoever - be it assam or bdland- that suffers flood.

China can do whatever it wishes with brahmaputra-tsangpo in tibet. for every 6 drop of brahmaputra water in digboi, remember, ony 1 drop comes from tibet. So we dont give a **** even if china diverts the whole yarlung tsangpo to xinjiang.
