Shami hasn't played Test cricket in more than 2 years now.  Surely it's over for him?

He was a declining force even then.

Wasn't able to land the ball on a spot in CT as well.

Cricketing gods ensured he took Smith's wicket on a knee height full toss lol:phehe:

Next game Arshdeep Harshit are out for Asia Cup and make sure to play Gurnoor Brar and Yudhvir.

It will be absolute Cinema to see two hit the deck Pacers operating in Tandem:drool:

Could or should be our A team attack!

Good to see Yash Dhull doing well after surgery for hole in his heart. He is our future. Potentially no.3

Right now he is not even in the plans, he looks v.fidgety while batting.

Yes same thing worked for Steve Smith and could work for him too.

Him and Raghuvanshi is another potential. India just has to harness the potential of these guys. We shouldn't lose sight of these guys. We cannot lose players. INdia should keep using these players in minnow matches from time to tiime.

Tbh There aren't that many better top order candidates for the A team, at least to my knowledge- guys who could bat at 3...

Would have like Musheer but he too only just coming back, who else

For now Sai or Devdutt can play Vs Aus A

But from the younger guys or guys who have not played for India, Shiekh Rasheed is one

Shashwat Rawat another but he was below par last year

Malewar did well for Vadrbha and batting at 3 now

Yes right now there are 2 positions up for grabs, 1 opener and other is one down. Kl is stop gap till they find some1.

Bcci is looking to build a core group around GIll for test team that's why Panth played up the order to keep in that group.

really not  many or any for that matter who look like a test no.3 or opener, there were fewer A tours and what ever they selected were not as if they are looking for some1 to slot into Ind side.

rt. now the route to Ind side is either by IPL or to score ton of runs in domestic that their name keep coming and there is sm and other ex-player talks about them, play record braking season that's it -- Mayank Agarwal did that and then Karun but both does not seem to have intnl quality.
