Recency bias is always a factor but i've never faced such a physical examination as that.

I'm putting this one at the top, maybe a three way tie with 2021 Gabba and 2001 Kolkata

I know lots will say it was just a draw but i dont care

2021 Gabba - by far #1 - simply because a rag-tag team annihilated a GOAT attack.

2001 Kolkata - 2nd - because of how it put the brakes on a GOAT Ozzie squad that came in having won 16 straight, and the manner in which it happened.

This series? Amazingly exciting. New team. New hopes. Turning the page on oldies etc. But tempered by lower quality of opposition.

There was one other win that ended a similar streak for Aussies - Perth 2008

The English bowling sucks but batting was great.

Root/Stokes ATG. Brook potential ATG. Duckett very good. Smith also can be very good.

Gabba still number 1 for me, that won us the series, against a far better team.

Not only was their team far better than this Eng team, our team was the most inexperienced bunch of rag-tag LOI players cobbled together at the last minute.

And coincidentally, Siraj had a 5-fer there too, as a newcomer!!

being a British indian caught up in the national frenzy makes it special. it’s still front page news, the main headline! people are saying it’s better than the the 2005 Ashes. all that hype and we get that hour today. I’ve never seen us pull off a miracle with the ball. it hits different!

2008 Perth Test.  Test won right after the Sydney fiasco after Umpire Punter and Clarke cheated on bump catches and Monkey/Maa Ki gate.

Shouldn't it be Indian British? Like I am an Indian American.
