I think the whole concept of politization of sports because someone decidates a win to victims in their country is driven by a western view which we have accepted due to inferiority complex. What if someone dedicates it to palestine? that only sounds unacceptable because most of the west (although its changing as the war drags on)  & right wing is biased towards Israel.

 

See how the Ukranian atheletes dedicating their wins to their fallen & at times directly blaming (righty so) Russians for the death in their country is covered by the media, is it ever covered as a dispute about politicising sports? because when they see the victims as theirs there is nothing controvertial, its almost gets covered like a fairy tale of how athelete from a war tron country has come all this way & won (which is true btw).

 

The Americans brought the  tattered American flag, recovered from the rubble of the World Trade Center in Winter Olypics of 2002 ceremony. Thats fine too.

Let them boycott please. BCCI needs to be humiliated to its core. Naqvi has threatened to nuke India, Pakistani ex cricketers and commentators have urged their team to destroy Somnath temple, their cricketers want to make the Bollywood actresses as their sex slaves(not that these actresses are any better, they are eager to be Pakistani bitches based on their comments in media and digital space). Now PCB has taken the appearance money and pulling down pants of BCCI openly. BCCI have no option other than complying with every demand of PCB for this Asia Cup , otherwise they will lose huge sponsorship money. One way or the other BCCI has been proven to be a bunch of greedy businessmen who has no self respect nor do they care for sentiments of the nation. Let Naqvi and Munir put their leash around  neck of Jay Shah, Rajeev Shukla and Anurag Thakur and roam on the street with them as their bitches.

By the way Indian cricketers can't act as if they are bonded labours. The out of context comments and drama that Surya did during presentation ceremony makes it only worse .

 

Each of these players barring few new members has atleast 10m USD as bank balance at minimum. Guys like Pandya, Gill, Surya, Bumrah have much more. Not a single guy has the guts to say that they are withdrawing from the cup while the much maligned gora cricketers do not mind to drop off from IPL for a season if they need to prepare for Ashes or spend some time with family. Pakistanis have already done that in past deviating their victory to Indian Muslims. They do it all the time. I agree that Surya should not have said what he said not because what Pakistanis might do but rather because Surya and BCCI did not mean it and only tried to plant it out of context at the end as part of damage control of the narrative. I expect Pakistanis to say bullshit regardless of whether Indians do it or not but Indians are looking as jokers at this point.
